Ever looked into the "weird" section of Airbnb? You can find some bizarre stays like UFO's, Rock camps, etc. but this one has a more interesting story.

Located just outside of Boise, you'll find a GIANT potato in the middle of nowhere next to a train track with a tiny fenced yard and a single cow. This is no ordinary potato; it's actually a famous Idaho potato that once was hauled on the back of an 18-wheeler as advertisement for Idaho Potato (Brand). After its lower 48 tour, the potato was left to sit with no home or plan of where or how it would live out the rest of it's life.
Thankfully, one of the tour's personal assistants claimed the potato to turn into an unusual property. She had other properties around the US and Uk and thought this would be a great fit for Idaho. She was not wrong!
Who wouldn't want to stay in a Potato?

She'd found this plot of land, fenced it in and added an external bathroom. The potato is complete with a Queen size bed, a coffee bar and hand sink. It's decorated in a shabby chic meet modern interior along with a record player while the aluminum barreled bathroom (just a few steps away) is farmhouse chic with an open walk in shower and a huge round aluminum water trough turned bathtub. The highlight of this bathroom is the faux fireplace and chandelier hanging in the middle of the room. You'll also have slippers and robes available for use. If you're a plant lover, you will really enjoy the amount of plants housed in the bathroom and around the sink.
A night's stay in here may be peaceful as there are no windows in the potato; however you are next to a train track so there's no guarantee that you won't hear it going past at night.
Be mindful that no animals are allowed at this location because the resident cow is terrified of other animals. She was a rescue and does spook easily. You can feed her, even if you aren't staying at the potato. Just outside the fence is a small candy dispenser filled with some snacks.
