Really Reno?

Really Reno?

Planning to visit Tahoe? Maybe you want to have a Vegas experience without the Vegas or just searching for somewhere to gamble and lay your head without the expectations of being out all night.

Reno-- a mini Las Vegas if you will, has a great hotel located in the middle of town and within walking distance of plenty casinos and without the hassle of the smell of cigarettes and need to stay up all night. It's also across the street from the famed Car Museum.

If you didn't know, Reno is home to the largest car show in the US. Surprisingly this place is crazy during the show and very quiet all other times of the year which makes it a prime place to come if you are looking for a subdued vacation or a stopping point heading to or from Tahoe!

The Renaissance hotel is a perfect place to lay your head, have a delicious dinner and enjoy a little "me" time. Rooms here are comfortable with great views of downtown  and surrounding mountain vistas. It's also pet friendly!

You can indulge in semi-fine dining at The Shore which offers American Cuisine with patio space overlooking the Truckee River or take it down a notch by heading over to Bondux Bocce connected at the lobby. Bondux features bar eats and brews on tap for a fun experience for all. You'll even find a small art gallery located throughout the lobby from local artists from abstract painting to naturalism.

If you need a little exercise, the hotel offers complimentary bicycles, a gym and roof top pool. You'll also find the spa on the roof top level where you can relax and unwind or pamper yourself just because you deserve it.

While there are plenty of things to do and see in Reno, you are also a short distance to the mountains and trails. Come see Reno and experience this hotel for yourself!
